What Is IWC?

International Whistlers Convention (IWC)

The International Whistlers Convention has a long history. It was founded by Allen de Hart, a director of public affairs, at Louisburg College in Louisburg, North Carolina, USA in 1974. The Convention focuses on competitions which include both popular and classical music styles. It also provides an opportunity for the host school, judges, and professional non-competing whistlers to perform in concert. The Convention is held annually in Louisburg with an exception of having in China and Japan.
